Decisions, decisions!

Over the last few days i've been trying to figure out what to do with my blog. To keep it or not.  I don't really have that much time for it anymore, but i still Love being on here and catching up with everyone and, well, stalking all the other blogging mums of the world!!

Today i finally figured it out.  I blog for me, cause i enjoy it, (and cause i love making Hubby change it every 5 seconds...he'd be lost if it wasn't for my blog!) and because of that it will stay.  However i do need to abandon a few ideas that i wanted to do (Bye-bye going natural and DIY, cause who has time to craft and DIY anymore!) 
Also any advertising/swapping dreams that i was hoping to aspire to will be gone as i wont have the time or blog appeal to make it worth while for anyone.  What i will be doing is stealing the buttons from my fav's and hanging them on my page instead!  My blog will be the blog that i originally intended, Plain, simple, about me and my family/life.

Smothering my Family in kisses and loves will be taking priority (mama-razzi will be out in full force), followed by Anatomy and Physiology, and Massage Therapy papers, followed by my dream and website (still coming....) and then my blog!!

I'm sure once i get my A into G and find some of that magical 'Time Management' dust, i'll get back into the swing of things, but for now i'll just do what i can and probably cover my blog in pics...As you do when you have such amazing kidlets!!

2 Years Old!!!! :)

Yup!!  I have no words cause my kid is just Awesomeness all over!!  Enjoy my photo-dump from our lil' family day!!

5 Months old!! :)

Late again!  Honestly though, being on time is highly over-rated!  My little Olly-pop is 5 months old...nearly 6 months...Nearly 18 years old dangit!!

This lil chubba Loves getting his food on!!.. Like, literally loves getting his food on.  His favs are potato and pumpkin (My home made mix) and banana!!  Still b/feeding but needing a little bit extra after some feeds.  Sometimes the little bit extra is 20mls, sometimes 150mls....

Finally sitting up, as well as inch-worming himself backwards on his belly and rolling all over the place! Loves being held up to stand too!  And Finally, he's getting used to being in the car, and we generally don't have to listen to a shrieking little banshee in the back seat when we go places anymore!! (Yay!!)

Compared to Lachy, this chappy is a dream with day sleeps now, and seems to be pretty clued up about the benefits of a 2 hour nap (like a happy mama).  Night sleeps are still pretty hit and miss though.  I do know he sleeps better on the days that he poops (Go figure huh)  For the most part though he usually manages at least 1 5-6 hour stretch, and on the occasional good night he goes down to bed at 7pm, wakes at 3am for a feed, then sleeps til 6.30am....Bliss!! On the really crap nights he wakes every 2 hours.  I don't like those nights.

This kid has ridiculously ticklish feet and belly, and thinks his brothers hugs (when it's not a headlock) are just the bee's knees (he actually smiles and giggles now when he gets them!)

Such a happy wee lad, that is just loved to pieces!!

Life lately

Honestly, so full on right now!!  Stress levels are pretty high at the moment, but in  a totally good way!  Blogging has taken a back seat as i try to keep up with visitors from afar, sickness, Hubbys birthday, Lachys birthday (coming up), tantrums, feeding our animals, collecting eggs, playgroups, new friends, welcoming our newest addition, crafting, setting up a dream, attempting to be athletic once again, preparing to start a diploma via distance learning, dodging raindrops, giving up dodging raindrops and dancing in the storm!  Not to mention doing my first give away!! (Don't forget to enter that one!  Closes on Sunday 10pm, open to all who leave a comment!)
It's been an awesome month so far!!

My young Artist.  All crayons have actually been taken away now, due to Lachy eating them... He tries to eat the felts too, but they obviously don't taste as good, so he just carries on drawing.  Such a handsome laddy!!

 This is the bulk of my life for the moment, one child desperately gnawing on my thumb, while the other child desperately tries to simultaneously throw a tanty, watch telly and sit on my knee.  It's pretty awesome when i manage to balance them both without getting an elbow or booger to the face!!

Monkey, herding our chickadees!! They're not his biggest fan...Don't seem to like me much either unless i have food...
 

Fresh eggs!!

  In their lil house.  The added bonus to having these little ladies is that we now have a 'disposal unit' for our juice pulp!!

This face is making itself known every day now....

As is this one.  Makes the day more interesting for sure....  Especially since his fav' trick is to lay down and not move.  I'm not the hugest fan of this on rainy days. Good thing he's so darn cute!!

This little tubby is practising sitting up, and horizontal running and lifting himself up into plank position!  What a machine!!  (5 month post is on its way....late...again)

Meet Scratt, our part Polydactyl kitten.  No extra toes, just a little mane!!  Such a laid back cat (unless in play mode)  Monkey just LOVES squishing him with love!!

The constant state of my lounge!  I think it gives Lachy a challenge, it encourages climbing, search and rescue, hide and seek, and Surprises galore!! (Week old apple core under the couch any one??)

Just hanging out with his new found friend!!  This kitten actually follows Monkey around even after he's been squished!  It thinks he's just the bee's knees really, and from the amount of 'Hugs' Lachy gives i'd say he def' feels the same way!

Penny Scallan - My first Review and Giveaway!

I've tried to think of an awesome way to write my first review, you know, make it funny and witty and blah blah blah.  Instead i'm gunna just give you the facts! 

First off, i have to say...Cover it in trucks and cars?  You're already monkeys lifelong friend!!  Make it practical and easy to clean?  You're already my lifelong friend!!

The Hat

 Aside from winning monkey over with the trucks and cars, it shades his face/ears/neck, and stays put when he runs/climbs/falls/wrestles because of the nicely weighted fabric and toggle....and he just looks damn cute in it!!!  For those days that Monkey's not in a 'Hat-mood' (most days) that toggle comes in awful handy!!

The Drink Bottle

Ha!! Love it!  Monkey tried squishing it to empty the contents on the floor.  Sorry kiddo, Stainless Steel!! Also has a spill proof lid that's replaceable!! Awesome!!

The Clipboard!!

Why did i never think of this one!?  I mean, i thought of colouring in when he got bored in the car (He LOVES colouring), but i just thought, nah, his car seat doesn't have a tray, and i'm not crafty enough to make one that would withstand the force that is monkey!  Lachy thinks his clip board is pretty darn Awesome!!  And when he gets bored colouring, he just shreds paper! (What's a bit of mess when you get a quiet car ride!)
This is a genius idea!!

The Backpack Lunchbox!!

What can i say, this one has won me over completely!  Thermal lined (and covered in scratch resistant PVC) to keep monkeys lunch fresh and cool (Even the drink bottle pocket!), REALLY easy to keep clean, and Velcro access, so it's easy for Mr Independent Monkey to get into without any help from a grown-up!! (My little boys getting so big!) It has straps to carry as a backpack, or a carry-bag.  And, well, monkey just looks so cute on his way to playgroup (or anywhere else he thinks he needs to go) with his lunch bag on his back!!  (Would like to add that i also throw in an extra nappy/wipes/pants, and they fit nicely with his lunch!)
