"Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes!!"

As in 'A-whole-new-house' changes!! Yup, we moved...again...(friends and family are quietly shaking their heads in disbelief).  Due to unforseen circumstances (like a pool for a backyard, and an indoor pool for a shed) we are now back in town!

We're slowly getting everything into a homely state, and for the first time today i started to feel a bit like i was home!  We spent the day in our little courtyard, planting, preparing soil, cutting out nasty vines etc, while my sister showed us how to weld a pair of pruning shares and gave the front yard a make over!

I'm  in considerable pain now, but it was worth it!!  Since we left our magical cottage with the amazing magical garden i've been in a bit of a funk (Or insane depression, you know, one of the two!)!  I've missed the amazing gardens we had, the fruit trees, the veges, the half eaten marigolds!  The space Lachy had to run free in!  Even the praying mantis and other crispy critters that lived in our magical lil' place!
Today, we started rebuilding that magical place, and you know...i think it's going to be Amazing!

In other news, Hubby starts a new job soon, i have surgery (hopefully soon) for my dud wrists, Lachy is 26 months and speeding along, Olly is 7 months (nearly 8) and fitting into his brothers clothes as soon as his brothers out of them, Maow-Maow is approx' 7 months also, and still a slightly psychotic weirdo cat....He fits in well :)  (and i kid you not, this cat Loves water!  He will lay down and play under the watering can as you try to water the vege!)

I'll be showing off some garden pics as soon as we're done, and updating my kidlet stats soon, but for now i will just show off my awesome boys!!

Proper update on my poppets coming very soon!!

I'm still here!!

Hi everyone! I'm still here!!  I promise i'll be back with a real post as soon as my broken computer returns to me revived and we've finished moving house!! (Again, i know...house number 6 in just under 3 years! Nomadic much?!)

And now i have to return Hubby's computer to him before he heads off to work!!
I'll just go back to watching the brand new lambs learning to stand and walk in the paddock next door to us!!

I'll Be Back!!

It's the little things!!

This is a bit of a piccy post again, but i had to share!  I was trying to think of ways to amuse my sick (again) grumpy children and remembered how much they both liked looking in the mirror in our room.....Out came the mirror!!

Instant happiness i tell ya!! Olly was just stoked with the baby in the mirror and started up with the smiles and chatter straight away...and then there was Lachy.  Once he had inspected the mirror from front to back, he stood himself right in front of Olly and commenced pulling faces!!

I took Olly out of his exer-saucer and lay the mirror sideways to create room for both of them.  After shunting Olly forward til he headbutted the mirror, Lachy then proceeded to roll him out of the way so he could once again have the whole mirror in which to pull faces....My child is Determined!

Loving my kids ability to see the most Awesome Fun in the simplest of things!!  Anyway, this wee activity kept them amused for a good 15 minutes, so i was stoked!

Now what do i do for tomorrow!?

My child likes to hide in Boxes...

I always used to laugh at the kids on telly that got their heads stuck in small spots, like banisters, fences etc.
Good to see God's sense of humor is still in full force.  I now have one of those kids.
Lachy just seems programmed to find the smallest spots he can and try to get in them.  Generally he can free himself with a bit of wriggling and coaching.... this week, however, Hubby received this pxt at work with a request for instructions on how to remove the child from the storage drawers....

He managed to wedge his shoulders in, then twist so he was stuck fast!
Thankfully i was able to remove him before he got upset, although he wasn't too fond of the 'twist and pull' maneuver.
Next week, well, i might just put the volunteer fire station on speed-dial!
And yes, i do take pics before i remove him from where ever he's decided to climb into/get stuck in! :)

And just for a bit of balance.....

(For the record, i do actually change my boys clothes! The red jumpsuit is just coincidentally in every pic of him...yup)

How to launch a Flightless Bird!!

It's here!!! After months of crafting (addictions to Polymer clay), creating, my Hubby tirelessly working on the inta-webby bit, URL stuff ups, and markets in the freezing cold, it's Finally Here!!!

http://www.flightless-bird.co.nz/

So freakin' Excited right now! (I even have little business cards for my market days...I feel so grown up!) I'm in the process of making more stock to replace the stuff i sold at the last market (Again, ridiculously excited for each piece i sell!), but you get the gist of it!!

And hopefully now that the busy stuff is done i can get back to more frequent clogging-of-the-internet-with-pics-of-my-gorgeous-babies (or not so baby-ish any more) stuff!!
Brace yourselves!!
